16th Jan – Wind powered Denmark.
The windmills around Denmark had a bumper month in December…..for the first time producing more than half of the electricity consumed.

14th Jan – Be careful if running at the Copenhagen lakes!
He may be lit up like a Christmas tree….and you see him coming, but he’s next to impossible to avoid!
Runners, dog walkers, coffee drinking amblers alike….love the Copenhagen lakes!

10th Jan – Coffee love!
Yippee….it’s the weekend and instead of drinking coffee to help meet deadlines…..survive early mornings and late nights….I get to drink coffee with friends, catching up and laughing!
Where is your favourite place in Copenhagen for coffee?
Great weekend to everyone out there!!!

9th Jan – Copenhagen Zoo has record visitors in 2013
2013 was a great year for the zoo in Copenhagen. They had a whopping 1.432.000 through the gates, a 30% rise on 2012.
2013 saw the opening of The Arctic Ring. The new housing for the polar bears. The illustration today is the tower in the grounds of the Zoologisk Have and of course a polar bear…although I have been informed by my son that the food I have supplied is all wrong…when he went they had just been given a horse’s head!
