Fun fact about Lambeth Bridge –

Supposedly the red colour of Lambeth Bridge represents the colour of the seats in the House of Lords. Traditionally members of the house of Parliament would use that bridge, while members of the House of Commons would use the green Westminster Bridge further downstream.
