Copenhagen Poster – Langebro

This beautiful copper bridge house was designed by the architect Kai Gottlob, to house the mechanics that open this bascule bridge for boats entering Copenhagen inner harbour. The bridge was completed in 1954.

For the 2nd printing of this popular print I have included its older neighbour, Knippelsbro ( 1937 ), in the background.
