2nd Feb – Copenhagen Snowdrops
With the thaw this weekend, came glimpses of blue sky and the tips of the new crop of snowdrops. A welcome break at the beginning of the 3rd month of winter….I for one, hope for more days like this.
1st Feb – Chair designing at the Design Museum.
In the winter holiday the Designmuseum Danmark will be hosting chair making workshops for parents and their kids.
Spend a couple of hours experimenting with form and function…playing with materials such as leather, wicker, plastic etc…
Who knows you could discover you’re living with a budding Ditzel or Panton!
There are 2 dates – 11th + 13th February and it is free to take part.

The Irma Chicken
To complete the neon series I started at the end of last week…is the Irma chicken…not an easy image, but I knew I would have to tackle it sooner or later.
This neon sign went up in 1953 and in the below link you can see how many eggs it has laid since then..

27th Jan – The location for my first exhibition
In March the “An Icon a Day Blog” will be getting an exhibition in the entrance of the Østerbro library opposite the American embassy…..I’m very excited.
