To complete the neon series I started at the end of last week…is the Irma chicken…not an easy image, but I knew I would have to tackle it sooner or later.
This neon sign went up in 1953 and in the below link you can see how many eggs it has laid since then..

In March the “An Icon a Day Blog” will be getting an exhibition in the entrance of the Østerbro library opposite the American embassy…..I’m very excited.

The Ga-jol sign is one of the younger neon signs in Copenhagen….this year it will be a young and vibrant 45 year old….just like me! Born in 1969 it took pride of place on the company building at Vibenshus Runddel, Østerbro.
Now it brightens up Vesterbro!
