1st Feb – Chair designing at the Design Museum.
In the winter holiday the Designmuseum Danmark will be hosting chair making workshops for parents and their kids.
Spend a couple of hours experimenting with form and function…playing with materials such as leather, wicker, plastic etc…
Who knows you could discover you’re living with a budding Ditzel or Panton!
There are 2 dates – 11th + 13th February and it is free to take part.

The Irma Chicken
To complete the neon series I started at the end of last week…is the Irma chicken…not an easy image, but I knew I would have to tackle it sooner or later.
This neon sign went up in 1953 and in the below link you can see how many eggs it has laid since then..

25th Jan – Østerbro Frogs
It’s been more than 4 years since this neon landmark left Østerbro.
The tower still looks very naked without them!
This old Normann Copenhagen blog post, shows them being dismantled. It’s a sad sight!

Can they not go back up?
