In less than 12 hours my friend is getting married at Rådhuset ( the town hall ) in Copenhagen…..and so my image today is an “over the top” celebration of this!!!

2nd Jan – With the Copenhagen drizzle it’s almost as wet outside the pool as in…but Vinterbad Bryggen guest swimming is this sunday!
The first sunday in every month the – BIG designed – Vinterbad Bryggen opens the pools and saunas for guest winter bathing.

1st Jan – – First Linocut – An Østerbro Apartment.
Working from a print out of an illustration, I now have my first linocut….An apartment in Nordre Frihavnsgade, Østerbro….the same apartment where coincidently I celebrated the arrival of 2014..a year that already holds so much promise!
Really looking forward to seeing how it prints…but too dark and too tired to attempt this evening!

This is the starting sketch for a piece I am creating for two dear friends – two apartments on opposite sides of Nordre Frihavnsgade.

Today was my son’s 10th birthday and we enjoyed champagne sorbet with chocolate cake, white icing and smarties!
